Elden Ring Runes has been out for a little over two weeks and, if you're anything like me, you're still traversing the expansive gothic world within The Lands Between. There aren't all players taking their leisurely time with the game, though as one speedrunner went through FromSoftware's action-RPG game in two-and-a-half hours...without losing a single moment! Color me jealous.

As reported by PC Gamer, YouTuber niko bellic --not the GTA IV protagonist--posted a video last week about their Elden Ring speedrun. The race started off in the same way. Niko selected the Vagabond as a good beginning class that has a large health pool and decent strength stats, to start their run. In the wake of "dying" the required time at the beginning of the game to The multi-armed Grafted Scion and skipping the tutorial area, niko hit the main realm that is Limgrave and immediately began running to the three Sites of Grace, which gives you the ability to download torrent. The trusted horse is not only a way to escape jail should encounter a boss that is hard to handle but it's also essential to discover Elden's vast world. The double-jumping horse is also the thing that allowed niko to run faster in the game.

You'll know what the rest of the marathon ran. Niko skipped most fights. What I love most about FromSoftware games: watching people who are knowledgeable of the genre completely destroy them.

So far as I can as I can tell, the niko's not dead Elden Ring speedrun is the most popular speedrun that has been posted. The site Speedrun, which catalogs an extensive listing of games and the speedrun times that runners complete they complete, doesn't include anything in relation to Elden Ring right now. There are YouTube videos of other athletes running quicker than niko, for instance those who claim to beat the game in less than an hour, however no one's surpassed niko's no death run. Not yet, anyway.
